PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Application
EPI NEMA Type 12 Single Door Floor Mounted Enclosures are designed to house electrical controls, terminals, and instruments. They provide protection from dust, dirt, oil, and water in indoor use. Enclosures are extra deep for applications where added interior space is needed.
Construction
Made from 14, 12, or 10-gauge steel. All seams are continuously welded. There are no holes or knockouts. The neoprene door gasket is attached with an oil-resistant adhesive. A 3-point latching mechanism, operated by an oil-tight handle, holds the door securely closed. Heavy gauge continuous stainless steel hinges support the door. Each enclosure has a 12-inch floor. Panel supports can be provided to support the panel and aid in panel installation. Locking handles are optional.
Accessories
Panels must be ordered separately. Regular panels, side panels, and panel supports are available. Drip shield kits protect the door and the door hardware from dripping water and settling dust.
Finish
The standard finish is Sherwin Williams ANSI-70 light dove gray inside and out. Panels are the same.
Industry Standard
Meets National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard for Type 12 (Industrial Use) enclosures.
