Application

EPI NEMA Type 12 Double Door Wall Mounted Enclosures are designed to house electrical controls, terminals, and instruments. They provide protection from dust, dirt, oil, and water in indoor use.

Construction

Made from 14, 12, or 10-gauge steel. All seams are continuously welded. There are no holes or knockouts. The neoprene door gasket is attached with an oil-resistant adhesive. These enclosures have uniquely gasketed, overlapping doors, which eliminate the need for a center post. A 3-point latching mechanism operated by an oil-tight handle holds the doors securely closed. Heavy gauge continuous stainless steel hinges support each door. Body stiffeners and door stiffeners are provided in larger enclosures for extra rigidity. Six external feet are furnished for mounting. Locking handles are optional.

Accessories

Panels must be ordered separately. Floor stand kits in 6, 12, 18, and 24-inch heights are available for factory installation. Drip shield kits protect the door and the door hardware from dripping water and settling dust.

Finish

The standard finish is Sherwin Williams ANSI-70 light-dove gray inside and out. Panels are the same.
