Application

EPI NEMA 4 JIC Clamp Cover Only Enclosures are designed for use in areas that may be regularly hosed down or are very wet. They are suitable for use in dairies, breweries, and similar installations.

Construction

Made from 16 and 14-gauge galvanized steel. Boxes feature external stainless steel screw clamps on all four sides for securing the cover. The solid neoprene gasket is attached to the cover with an oil-resistant adhesive. All hardware is stainless steel. There are no knockouts or holes. External feet are furnished for mounting. Panels must be ordered separately.

Finish

The standard finish is Sherwin Williams ANSI-70, light-dove gray enamel inside and out over paint grip or primed surfaces.

Industry Standard

Meets National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Type 4 (Water Tight and Dust Tight) and Type 13 (Oil Tight and Dust Tight) enclosures.
