Application
EPI NEMA 4 JIC Aluminum Screw Cover Enclosures are designed for use in areas that may be regularly hosed down or are very wet. They are suitable for use in dairies, breweries, and similar installations.
Construction
Made from .100 5052H Quarter Hard Aluminum sheets. All seams are continuously welded and there are no holes or knockouts. The covers are attached with stainless steel self-captivating screws. Covers are gasketed with a neoprene gasket attached with an oil-resistant adhesive. External feet are furnished for mounting. Panels must be ordered separately.
Finish
The standard finish is a 5052H Quarter Hard Aluminum sheet.
Industry Standard
Meets National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard for Type 4 (Water Tight and Dust Tight), Type 12 (Industrial Use), and Type 13 (Oil Tight and Dust Tight) enclosures. Also, Meets Joint Industrial Council (JIC) standard. EGP- 1-1967.
