PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Application
EPI NEMA Type 3R Telephone Cabinets are used for control cabinets and instrument cases in outdoor installations. These cabinets are available in single and double door. Designed to protect enclosed equipment against rain, sleet, and snow; may be used indoors where dripping water is a problem.
Construction
Cabinets are made from 16 or 14-gauge steel. Covers have continuous stainless steel piano hinges and are held closed by a flush paddle latch.
Accessories
Optional key-locking cylinder lock and hasp for padlocking. Interior panels: wood or steel.
Finish
The standard finish is a Sherwin Williams ANSI-70 light-dove gray painted enamel finish inside and out.
Industry Standard
Meets National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard for Type 3R (Rainproof and Sleet-Ice resistant) enclosures.
