PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Application
EPI NEMA Type 12 JIC Galvanized Screw Cover Enclosures are designed for use as instrument housing, electrical control enclosures, terminal wiring boxes, and electrical junction boxes. They provide protection against very wet environments that are not hosed down but have high moisture conditions such as coastal conditions.
Construction
made from 16 or 14-gauge G-90 hot-dipped galvanized steel sheets. All seams are continuously welded and there are no holes or knockouts. The covers are attached with stainless steel self- captivating screws. Covers are gasketed with a neoprene gasket attached with an oil-resistant adhesive. External feet are furnished for mounting. Panels must be ordered separately.

Finish
The standard finish is a G-90 hot-dipped galvanized steel sheet.
Industry Standard
Meets National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard for Type 12 (Industrial Use) enclosures. Also, Meets Joint Industrial Council (JIC) standards EGP-1-1967.
