PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Application
EPI NEMA Type 12 Consolets are designed to house electrical controls and instruments. They provide protection from dust, dirt, oil, and water. For indoor use. The consolet may be mounted on either of two sides to give a control surface include 60°and 30°. These enclosures can be mounted on desktops, on machines, or on pedestals.
Construction
Made from 16 and 14-gauge steel. All seams are continuously welded. There are no holes or knockouts. The covers are continuously hinged. The covers are held in place by stainless steel self-tapping screws.
Finish
The standard finish is Sherwin Williams ANSI-70 light dove gray enamel, inside and out.
Industry Standard
Meets National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard for Type 12 (Industrial Use) enclosures. Also, conforms to the Joint Industrial Council (JIC) standards EGP-1-1967.
