Assistant Plant Manager
Location: 10,000 W. Commerce St., San Antonio, Texas 78227
Job type: Full Time In Office position
Pay: $18-25 per hour with 3 raises in the first year
EPI Enclosures & Engineering is a 57-year-old manufacturer of NEMA enclosures, wireways, and bussed secondary products. We are seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.
We are a tightly-knit and committed team who is flexible and emphasize training and development.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
- Coordinate supplies and material ordering
- Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
- Place production orders from customers
- Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Submit plant and production reporting
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
