Built for Tough Environments: EPI’s Industrial Products

Industrial products are built for some of the harshest environments such as those exposed to moisture, dust, chemicals, extreme temperatures, and corrosion. At EPI, our industrial products include NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, and NEMA 12 enclosures and wireways.
Industrial products represent only a portion of what we manufacture, and we approach every industrial project with the same level of attention, engineering, and quality that we bring to all of our products.
Industrial Product in Production: NEMA 4X Wall Mount Enclosure
A current project we have in production is a repeated order for Techline NB. They are needing eight NEMA 4X Wall Mounted Enclosures, with the dimensions of 24” x 24” x 16.” For Techline NB and other partners, EPI is a trusted provider for these industrial products.
The manufacturing process requires precision fabrication, proper gasketing, quality materials, and careful assembly to ensure the enclosure meets NEMA 4X standards and performs in the field.
In order to meet NEMA 4X certification standards these enclosures are seam welded and fabricated using Type 304-2B stainless steel, with all stainless-steel hardware and a continuous heavy hinge. An oil resistant, self-adhesive, closed-cell neoprene gasket is installed to prevent the ingress of foreign objects, water under pressure, and chemicals.
